Update: Husband Mike and I are both retired and can't imagine how we ever had time to work. We moved to North Carolina 25 years ago and love it here, although we remain loyal Husker fans. We enjoy traveling, often with friends (next up: Antarctica Jan. 2011), and we entertain frequently. I volunteer at a cat shelter, help friends with interior design, cater to my 2 cats' every whim, garden a little, swim a little, and apparently do other things I can't account for, because I always run out of time before I run out of things to do.
Husband Mike and I have lived in North Carolina for 20 years and love it.
I recently retired as Deputy Commissioner of the NC Department of
Insurance. A few years ago, I returned to school and obtained a
second degree in interior design. Better career counseling for
girls back in the 1960's would probably have redirected my studies long
ago. We love to travel and we still love Husker football, in spite
of the setbacks of late. |
