God's been very good to me!

After getting married to Chuck Nash in Lincoln in 1968, I graduated with a teaching degree and we moved to Minnesota. I taught high school English there and raised two children (Andy & Angel) before we moved to Orlando, Florida, in 1988. Now I'm back in Lincoln--don't ask me why!

I attended college in Lincoln, then moved to Minnesota and had two children. Eventually we moved to Orlando, Florida. For most of my life I have taught high school English and most recently I have taught college English.  The most important things in my life are God, family, and career--in that order!

Currently, my unmarried daughter lives here. My son, in Chattanooga, has given me three gorgeous granddaughters. I have taught high school and college English for 35+ years but find it's not easy getting into the Lincoln Public School system. So this semester I'm substitute teaching and working part-time for a company called About Learning.

Occasionally I sub at Southeast and is that ever weird walking down those halls, remembering classrooms, finding my old lockers, going into those bathrooms (some things never change!) and thinking how "young" today's teenagers look!

All I can say about this reunion is: Please WEAR your name tags! This one could be the most "interesting" trying to recognize everyone. (I'm already feeling sad about some of the names on the In Memorium list who were my classmates K-12.) How did time pass so fast?
