Melodee and David Landis have been married a very, very long time. They have two grown children, Matthew and Melissa McKibbin, who live and work in Lincoln. Their most recent delight is their four-year-old granddaughter, Naomi. Other favorite pastimes for Melodee include playing the fiddle and singing in a couple of groups that perform around Lincoln. Melodee is an Associate Professor in the Teacher Education Department at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
