After fourteen years managing publishing and technology solutions for a trade association, I moved into a consulting and project management role for three years.  During this consulting phase, I implemented three enterprise-wise association management systems, including one for the National Safety Council.

In August 2003, I accepted my "dream" position of Director of Publishing and Editorial Publishing Systems with the American Medical Association at State and Grand in downtown Chicago.  The current project is to research and implement a workflow and content management solution to support JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) and the nine Archives journals.

My two sons and I just completed renovation of a set of three townhomes in Evanston.  Son James is 31 and Geoffrey is 26.  James has a beautiful wife and my two grandchildren, Chance and Dresden.
