First off I got a kick out of not showing up in Missing Knights since I've pretty much have lived in Nebraska for the last 45 years.  When I didn't show up in Missing Knights I thought maybe I'd passed on, but I wasn't in the  Memoriam.  Anyway, here I am, alive and kicking.

After high school I went to UNL for a semester but did not like school.  I knew I'd get drafted so I joined the Army as a Diesel Mechanic.  What a funny choice on my part since I'd never done any type of mechanics work.  Luckily, I was asked to work in Finance after I arrived in Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam.  I spent 2 years there and came back in 1970.

I went to a 2-year college in Hastings, NE, graduated, then ended up working for the school as a Campus Store Manager.  After 4 years there, I got a job with the Union Pacific Railroad and 31 years later, I'm an Analyst in the Real Estate Department.  I could have retired after 30 years service and being 60 years old in July of 2008, but I didn't and now plan to retire when I turn 63.

I've never been married; tried once but the girl said she had to think about it.  Being in my early 20's and it being the wild 1970's, it was probably a good thing she had to think about it.

I've never been to a Knights reunion and the reason why is that for the 2 years I was at SE, I was an extreme introvert - no dates, no dances and no friends - but going to UNL brought me out of my shell.

I don't remember any of my classmates but I plan to party on at our 45th.  See ya then.
