Software engineer, VeriWave Inc., maker of test equipment for the wireless networking industry, Beaverton, OR. 

Married 35 years (!) to LaJune (Turner) Thorson, LSE '67. LaJune was Oregon Counselor of the Year for 2005-2006 before retiring from the Oregon schools; now a counselor at Woodland High School, Woodland, WA.

Our first date: Knights tournament basketball game, Pershing Auditorium, March 6, 1966. Yes, that's 42+ years ago. (Knights lost, we won.)

Two sons:
* Thomas Turner Thorson, age 25 today (3/21/07), graduated with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, University of Oregon Clark Honors College, 2000. Plays in rock band 'The Days;' plans to return to grad school some day.

* James Turner Thorson, age 23, graduated Emory University 2002, currently a fisheries biology Masters student at Virginia Tech.
