Update: Software contractor. Currently working on a Web application providing dentists and their patients with online access to dental videos. Previous assignment: a Web app enabling TV folk to create interactive TV apps enabling viewers to buy stuff using only a TV remote. Married 39 years (!!) to LaJune (Turner) Thorson, LSE '67. LaJune was Oregon Counselor of the Year for 2005-2006 before retiring from the Oregon schools; now enjoying a "working retirement" as a counselor at Woodland (WA) High School. Our first date: Knights tournament basketball game, Pershing Auditorium, March 6, 1966. Yes, that's 44+ years ago. (Knights lost, we won.) In 2009 we realized a longtime goal of moving into an urban highrise condo and are now enjoying Portland's vibrant downtown (when we're not too tired). Two sons: * James Thorson, age 26, graduated Emory University 2002, now a fisheries biology Ph.D. student at the University of Washington ( http://www.facebook.com/James.T.Thorson).
