My wife, Janice Ann MGill Joy, and I are enjoying the southern Florida life after having moved several times (Chicago area; Tulsa, OK; Brussels, Belgium; Bernardsville, NJ; Bethesda, MD) as part of my corporate life.  Our son, George, married a wonderful girl in 2005 and they are living in the New York City area.  Our daughter is a junior at Elon University in NC.

My life after Southeast took me away from Lincoln and involved:  college at Grinnell College and Northwestern University for my PhD in Chemistry; working as a research scientist and manager at what is now Honeywell International developing the automotive emission control catalysts that are now on every car to greatly reduce pollution; working as a research executive at Honeywell in Europe and the US; working as an executive at the US Department of Commerce during the Clinton administration to launch the technology program to make hybrid and fuel cell automotive technologies a reality; and finally as a CEO of a research-stage fuel cell technology startup company here in Florida.  I shifted to semi-retirement a couple years ago and now I spend many of my days researching and pursuing investment opportunities and, increasingly, golf.
