7/4/11: After graduating from UN-L in 1970 and serving active duty in the Nebraska National Guard for a year, I started my career in education with a teaching job in the Lincoln Public Schools. Sue Mason, a graduate of Holmesville High School, and I were married in 1971. We have two sons. Matt and his wife, Anne, live in St. Louis where Matt is an aerospace engineer with Boeing. They have two children, Mason and Lydia. Our son Eric has recently moved to Illinois where he is managing the political campaign for a Democratic candidate for Congress. I was a middle school principal in Lincoln for thirty years. Currently, I am an administrator in the College of Education and Human Sciences at UN-L. |
