Hello, I am the son of Judy Duerschner, a member of your high school class. As you've noted on your lseclassof1966.com website, my mother was killed by a drunk driver. The date was actually April 12, 1986 (you have it as 4/13/98). At the time I was 11 years old. Ironically, this year I'll be the age she was back when she was killed. I would love to be connected with any close friends of hers from her high school. I don't know anything about that time period of her life. Could you please help me to connect with anyone who was close to her from her high school years? My email address is jmueller@breakingground.net and cell number is 773-273-9662. Thank you, John

The 45th Reunion Committee did a great job, it was great to see everyone who could be there. The art show and tour of the school was wonderful. First to see the amazing talent our classmates have AND to see the changes in the school building itself. Thanks to the committee again!!!! Hope to be able to be at the 50th. Would love to see the opportunity to see an all city one then as well.

What a trip! The Reunion Committee did an outstanding job in making a bunch of old farts feel welcome. Once a Link, always a Link. Once a Knight is enough. I guess the Committee are the cool kids. Is that correct grammar, Mary Commers?

Whoops, I forgot. We toured LSE and the principal suggested we do a Spring reunion and have a gathering at LSE and he would provide students to perform for us. Such as the band, chorus etc. Does that appeal to any of you. If so send me your comments and I will take it to the committee. Pat

Those of you who did not attend, you missed the best time yet. We certainly did miss you. Please plan to attend the 50th class reunion. Hope everyone stays healthy. Pat

May I offer a standing "O" to the committee members who almost thanklessly work tirelessly, time after time, to keep our classmates in touch with each other! You guys/gals are THE BEST! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO TO MAKE THESE THINGS SUCH A SUCCESS! jan christensen

would love to come to a reunion, but the timing is not a "comfortable" one for those of us who live in low humidity. how about spring or fall, tolerable weather in lincoln?

Wow! Can't believe it's been 45 years since we graduated. Have great memories of life in Lincoln and the friends that were made there. Hopefully, my husband, Dick, and I will be in Lincoln for the reunion. ( I know most of you have never met Dick, b/c he was a Navy pilot and every time I came to a reunion he was out on the aircraft carrier.) Three year ago we left the "logic-free zone" of Washington, D.C., and we retired to a small community near Clemson University. It's beautiful here with lots of lakes, waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Mountains. We've been married 40 years and have 5 children and are soon to have our 8th grandchild. Adam Navy test pilot, just like his dad; Amy, Physical therapist; Julie, teacher; Katie, sports management for the Army; and Megan, teacher in China. We are blessed beyond measure. My mom still lives in Lincoln along with my sister Julie, brother Mark, and their families. When I get back to Lincoln I try to plan a trip on a Husker game weekend. I'm a crazier fan now than I was years ago. The greatest passion in my life is the growing relationship I have with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Life's challenges and Joys are best met in and through Him. See you all in July. Write your name really big on your name tag so I can put an older face with a young heart :).

I would really like to attend a "45 year" reunion. I haven't been able to get back since the 20 year reunion and miss seeing all of my fellow Knights. We are not getting any younger and many of us may not be around to attend a 50 year reunion. What can I do to help "make it happen"?

HELP: We need your help. Please go to "In Memoriam" site and let me know if you or if you know of someone that can help us find out when our classmates died (the date) and what they died of. Any help would be appreciated alot. If you know any of their sibiling, past neighbor, friends of family etc. PLEASE, PLEASE I need your help. We would like to find this info on each of them. Thanks Pat

It is really nice to see all the comments from people about turning 60 years young. I reached the milestone last Nov. 19th. Thanks to people like Tom Hinds, I am not the oldest. Hope 2008 is a good year for all.

Please keep in touch as it will make it easier for those of us trying to find you all when the next reunion comes around. Hey, anyone in favor of a 45th reunion or want to wait for the 50th. I would like some feedback on that.

To find Virginia Flansburg try Virginia Cunningham, I believe she may be in California, and is a realtor.

Hello, Thanks for this nice website. I've found everyone's bios so interesting. I'm sorry more people didn't elect to share some information about what they've been doing in the last 40 (!) years but it was really fun to read the bios that were shared. Such variety! I'm also curious about some names that don't appear on any of the lists: Connie Drath. I remember at our first reunion Connie received a "most outstanding graduate" award -- or something similar. At the time she was working as a lobbyist for the tobacco industry which seemed to me a rather dubious achievement. Linda Mitchell. I believe she graduated mid-term. She was a good friend and I have always been sorry not to see her name at any reunion. Kris Swanson. I remember talking with her at the last reunion I attended (25th perhaps?). She and her brother Eric were such special people and again I was sorry not to find her listed. Thanks again. MAd

Just looked at all the great pictures of the reunion. For those of us that were unable to attend, is there any way possible to list names with pictures. I think we have all changed after 40 years. Thanks for such a great job. Maybe I will make it at the 50th

I notice Nancy Thompson is not listed anywhere on the site. Does anybody have any news of her? Will pictures from the reunion be posted on this site? Thanks for the party.

I'm not sure why I'm missing as I've been at the same location for years. It might be because my name was misspelled, and I never received any information. Fortunately a classmate (Mike Swanson) e-mailed me about this site. Whoever put this site together spent a lot of time and effort. Looks great. Unfortunately, I already have plans for that date, so I will be unable to attend the reunion. Have a good one. DHS
